Medical students at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford found out where they will spend the next three to seven years of their medical training Friday during a Match Day ceremony. All 56 students from the class of 2023 at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford matched into residency programs in 17 specialties in 18 different states. Fifty-four percent of the Rockford students matched into primary care specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics.
